For years I've kept a bottle of Peppermint oil in my purse for the occasional sneezing fit. I just apply a drop to my nostrils or sometimes just smell it if I can't get to a hand washing source. It stops my sneezes dead in their tracks.

Also, I work among the public and many times I've handed the Peppermint bottle to a sneezing customer. They are always totally amazed and want to know where to get some.
