In the last 25+ years, I can't remember when I slept through the night. I often woke up between 1:30am and 3:30am and it didn't matter what time I went to bed. Sometimes, I would be able to go back to sleep within minutes or an hour before I had to actually get up. Many times I wouldn't be able to sleep again at all.
I started using Young Living oils in March 2004 and I started with Lavender on the soles of my feet. Then at a YL meeting someone mentioned using Valor, so I made a blend of Valor and Lavender in a jojoba base and used this to massage the soles of my feet before going to sleep and after my shower in the morning. I hadn't really noticed anything until about 1/2 through my 1-1/2 hour commute to work one morning when I decided to take a nap. I knew there was another 45 minutes left so I closed my eyes for what seemed like only seconds only to find that we were now only 5 minutes away from the bus terminal. I awoke feeling so refreshed as if I had been in a very deep sleep. Wow! It felt great! I didn't know that sleep could be so good.
I found I had the same experience at night as well and have had only rare occasions when I haven't been able to sleep. On those nights it was because I didn't use the oils. As soon as I used the oils, I was sleeping soundly within 5 minutes! What an experience!
