I have always had allergic reactions to horsefly bites. Once I had been bitten on the hand and within 1 hour my hand and fingers swelled up so bad that I couldn't bend my fingers enough to pick up a glass of water.
Recently, I was bitten again by a horsefly on the back of my leg. My leg began to swell almost immediately. I ran home and applied 2 drops of the Purification oil blend directly on the bite.
The swelling continued so after 30 minutes I applied 2 more drops on the bite. To my amazement...the swelling began to subside within minutes.
Within an hour the swelling, redness and heat completely disappeared leaving behind only the puncture wound.
