Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.
My initial introduction to Young Living Essential Oils came about because I had been experiencing symptoms of a heart problem: rapid, irregular, pounding heartbeat, and then chest pains and finally a fainting spell. My holistic doctor told me he felt the heart condition was brought on by hormonal imbalance, and sent me to a hormone specialist.
His tests showed I was severely depleted in ALL the hormones (at least in part because I had a hysterectomy 25 years before), and his solution was to offer HGH shots at $1000 per shot! With no insurance, I wanted to help my body naturally. I literally went home and turned it over to my Creator, and asked to be led to the solution.
I then went to the health food store, and on the bulletin board was a flyer that just jumped out at me. It was one that a new distributor with Young Living, had just posted. I called, met with him, and we looked at the possibilities with the products available at that time (1996).
I used a few drops of the Joy Blend (learned it was for the heart as well as emotions), HRT Tincture ( I took 3 half droppers 3 times a day) and the progesterone cream Young Living had at the time. The first week, I didn't see much difference, so he suggested I increase the amount of the progesterone cream.
Within three weeks, all the symptoms had disappeared...and have not returned! I am forever grateful for that.
It also showed me how powerful these oils and products are - given that the degeneration had been taking place over so many years, and was reversed so rapidly.

6. | Associated topics: heart — "Myrtle oil (MO) exerts hypoglycemic as well as mild hypotriglyceridemic activity in diabetic animals. The reduction in blood glucose level may be due to the reversible inhibition of alpha-glucosidases present in the brush-border of the small intestinal mucosa, higher rate of glycolysis as envisaged by the higher activity of glucokinase, as one of the key enzymes of glycolysis, and enhanced rate of glycogenesis as evidenced by the higher amount of liver glycogen present after MO administration." | Link |
7. | Associated topics: hormones — "Results of bone density, bone mineral content, bone tensile strength and histological analysis also showed similar trend of results, which supported initial observations of this study. It is proposed that hydroalcoholic extract of dried clove buds has bone-preserving efficacy against hypogonadal [hormonally deficient] osteoporosis." | Link |
8. | Associated topics: heart,rapid-/-racing-heartbeat-(Tachycardia) — "[I]dentifying... the effects of YYA [ylang ylang aroma] on blood pressure (BP) and heart rate (HR) is important in order to demonstrate the effectiveness of YYA. The present results demonstrated that inhalation of YYA significantly decreased the systolic and diastolic blood pressure. Inhalation of YYA also significantly decreased the HRs in 10 leads.... In the present results, YYA caused a reduction of HR and BP, and a relief of the arousal level in healthy men. The present results show a sedative effect of YYA, and this study provides some evidences for the usage of YYA [as a] medicinal agent." | Link |
