Warning: Not all essential oil brands are the same quality. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that the oil you are using is made from pesticide-free plants grown in optimal conditions. Also, the brand should be a 100% pure, high-quality essential oil that does not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask trusted friends to find a brand that is reputable.
Two years ago I had a meniscus tear in my right knee. The surgical repair didn't provide relief, so I had to follow up with a uni-compartmental knee replacement. I've had pain and swelling since and my physicians have been unable to find a medical cause.
I decided to treat it as a possible hypersensitivity to metal, thinking that my leg might be reacting to the implant itself. I had much improvement using Lavender, Melrose, Peppermint and Frankincense, but the days I had to be on my feet a lot were still miserable.
After using the normal oils on one of the difficult days, I tried adding spikenard and Myrrh out of desperation. I was greatly relieved to have most of the inflammation subside and to know that I could have more active days as long as I'm careful to mitigate the strain on my leg with the appropriate oils. Without them I would have to live a much more restricted life.
