For most of my life, each fall I had a bout with bronchitis. As I got older, the illness became more severe, sometimes causing me to be in bed for as long as 3 weeks. Through most of that time, not knowing any better, I would be treated with antibiotics and later tried homeopathics, which for this ailment was not successful.
After joining Young Living, I read that Oregano was very powerful for killing off streptococcus pneumoniei - the bacteria behind pneumonia and bronchitis.
From then on, at the first sign of a problem, I would fill 3 capsules a day with approximately 15 drops of Oregano, and also rubbed Oregano diluted with some V-6 mixing oil on my throat and chest.
If there was a sore throat coming on, which was often the first sign, I would take a teaspoon of honey and add a couple of drops each of Oregano and the Thieves oil blend.
It has been six years since I have had a bout of bronchitis!
