I was coming down the stairs with articles in my hand. I got to the third step from the bottom and slipped. I had to catch myself by landing hard on my legs to keep myself from running into the wall.

My left quadricep muscle stated getting sore that evening and by the next day it hurt when I walked. Now this is the biggest muscle in the body and it takes awhile to heal. I made up a mixture of 15 drops of PanAway and 4 drops of Marjoram for the muscle injury. Then for inflammation I added 8 drops of Wintergreen, 4 drops of Lavender and 3 drops of Peppermint. This added up to 34 drops of EO.

Then I added 34 drops of Ortho Ease. I massaged it into the muscle before I went to bed. The next morning I did the same and again in the evening. By the end of 3 applications it no longer hurt to walk and the pain while massaging was less. The first couple of times I almost went through the roof. Now I'm sure it is going to take awhile to heal completely but I know that these oils have hastened the healing.
