When one of my young daughter's molars came in it had a large pocket of fluid over it and the gum. She was in pain and had diarrhea. So I applied a drop of the Exodus II oil blend several times a day for pain relief.
Within two days the pocket disappeared and the tooth started to come through. Now she brings me the oils when she wants to taste or 'wear' them.
If your child is not accustomed to the oils, you might choose to dilute the Exodus II, as it contains Cassia oil, which can be hot. Test it on yourself first.
