My horse had her first baby last year (2007). She had an easy birth but her vaginal area was very bruised, a little torn and extremely swollen too.
It looked so painful I didn't dare touch her to apply oils. So, I took ClaraDerm and sprayed it directly on her backside every few hours.
The next morning the swelling had reduced by 1/2. Four days after giving birth all of the swelling was gone.
She would see me coming with the bottle and she would turn towards me with a look like "thank you thank you!". It was amazing.
