Removed A Splinter Using Oils

My husband is building a deck at our Arizona home. He got a splinter in his index finger near the first joint. He had dug into the finger with tweezers but could not find it.

It hurt so I had him apply a drop of the Thieves oil blend. It immediately stopped hurting except when he bent the knuckle so he put a band aid on to keep from bending it. He kept putting Thieves oil on twice a day.

The third day he tried squeezing it to see if he could see the splinter. It just popped out. It was 3/8ths of an inch long and looked like a spear head.
