In a short sprint to answer the door in my warehouse job I was distracted. This caused me to twist my ankle, crash against a mobile cart, then to the floor. My ankle was so painful I could all but limp 15 feet to sit and apply the essential oils I carry with me.

I first put on the Valor and PanAway oil blends, and followed up with the single oil, Peppermint. That was right before lunch. The pain subsided immediately and I did not limp the rest of the day. In the evening the ankle was quite swollen, turning purple and yellowish green.

With continual applications of the oils (3 times per day), alternating Cypress oil (for the swelling) with PanAway, as well as wrapping it, the injury was resolved in a week.

Though I reported it to my employer, they did not have to submit a claim to Workman's Comp.
