A couple weeks ago, I was doing some yard work for a friend, cleaning out the flower beds, cutting back plants and getting ready for the winter. All of a sudden a swarm of ground bees appeared around the pile of plant cuttings.
I think I had disturbed their nest. They didn't look too harmful, so I continued to work around them. Not 2 minutes later, I was stung by one bee on the arm, then stung again by another on the leg.
I quickly put some mud on both bee stings since that was the closest remedy I had available. For some strange reason, I left my Young Living essential oils at home! Yikes! I wasn't able to get home for another couple of hours.
When I could get to my oils, I used Peppermint oil and the Purification oil blend - about 1-2 drops of each on both bee sting areas about 3 times per day.
Within 1-3 days, the puffy sting areas decreased to the point where you couldn't even tell I had been stung. The pain went away really fast as well.
