Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

In the middle of the night on February 2007, my mother broke out in a rash across the right side of her waist and hip area. She was able to get in to see her family doctor, who assessed her condition to be Shingles, and prescribed her Valtrex. She started taking the pills, and had consumed 2 doses by the time I learned of her problem.

That evening, I asked her whether the doctor had suggested using Calamine lotion, the answer was not to use it. I used a cotton pad to lightly dab a mixture of 1 tablespoon Calamine Lotion with 20 drops of Lavender oil, as well as run the frequencies for Shingles and Chicken Pox on a Rife machine.

Within 20 minutes of running the frequencies, she felt that the burning sensation had subsided by about 40%. After not having slept the previous night, she was able to get sleep on Day 2.

Every day for the next 2 weeks, I applied the Calamine/Lavender mixture, and every day I observed the progress of the rash. Never did the bubbles break and weep...rather they were subsiding and the heat in the area had gone by day 3. I also made up capsules of Young's oils (3 drops of the Thieves oil blend or Oregano) and had her take one every day.

By the start of week 3, the rash was disappearing (just a matter of watching the redness diminish), though she suffered pain in the area internally.

By the middle of June/07, my mother said her shingles pain was gone. I thank the oils, as does my mother, for easing the pain and expediting her recovery of her shingles. She has NO post herpetic neuralgia.

I have spoken with many others who have had the shingles, and they still experience the neuralgia years after.

Bless you, Gary Young. We believe in you!
