Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

My grandfather has been quite ill for some time now. He has alzheimer's and then we found out his kidneys were only functioning at 22%. So, I've been applying oils for his kidney's (Juniper, Ledum, Lemongrass and the Release oil blend) for a few weeks.

He fell and hurt his hip at home and eventually ended up in a nursing home to get back on his feet. What a joke. I walked in to visit and annoint him with oils. I found him in the commons area. I was HORRIFIED by what I saw. His skin was ashy gray in color and his head was slumped on his chest. He wouldn't lift it when spoken to.

I got him back to his room and had him lie down on the bed. I removed his shoes and socks and applied those four oils to the bottom of his feet. Within ten minutes the color came back to his face and he was alert and talking. My mother and aunt both were there and saw it. They were both impressed.

The nursing home kicked my grandfather out after his insurance ran out. This was a blessing for sure. He had alzheimer's going in but when he came out, just two weeks later, he couldn't put a sentence together.

He was nowhere near that bad. Coming out of there he was wearing diapers, which he wasn't when he went in there. He also got a bad case of pneumonia as well. Of course had to pay thousands of dollars for this top notch care too.

When he got home I rubbed the RC blend on his chest and three days later his pneumonia was gone!

Since his kidney's were only functioning at only 22%, he was one step away from going on dialysis. After annointing him on his feet with a blend for his kidney's (Ledum, Juniper, Lemongrass and Release) three days a week for three months his kidney's are finally getting better!

He's also been on the NingXia Red juice and the K & B tincture which I know have helped too. I live 45 minutes away from him so three days a week was about all that I could manage.

I know if my family would listen to me and quit feeding him junk like glazed doughnuts and soda he would be getting better even faster. Unfortunately I don't have control over that.

I am so blessed to have learned about these oils and other products manufactured by Young Living. Thank you! Thank you!

Supporting Scientific Studies
1.Associated topics: pneumonia — "Cineole has mucolytic, bronchodilating and anti-inflammatory properties and reduces the exacerbation rate in patients suffering from COPD, as well as ameliorates symptoms in patients suffering from asthma and rhinosinusitis.... The effects of Cineole in the treatment of acute bronchitis were clearly measurable and could be proven after a treatment period of merely 4 days. This study corroborates the fact that Cineole actively and significantly reduces cough frequency after four days."Link
2.Associated topics: pneumonia — "The antibacterial activity of 14 essential oils and their major constituents in the gaseous state was evaluated against [respiratory tract pathogens] Haemophilus influenzae, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Streptococcus pyogenes, and Staphylococcus aureus. [The] oils [with cinnamon bark, lemongrass, and thyme being most potent] and their major constituents were shown to be effective against various bacteria tested.... These results indicate that the antibacterial action of essential oils was most effective when at high vapor concentration for a short time."Link
3.Associated topics: kidney-disease — "Many plant extracts that protect against the development of oxidative stress manifest clear antilithiasic activity [preventing the formation of or relieving the symptoms of kidney stones].... Evidence obtained to date supports a contributory role of polyphenols [present in essential oils] in the prevention of cardiovascular disease, some cancer types, and osteoporosis.... The results show an improvement of the renal function in some treated groups with an increase of diuresis and creatinine excretion due to polyphenols pretreatment. Our results clearly validate the ability of polyphenols to protect against papillary calcification of kidney tissue, consequently preventing the development of papillary calculi [kidney stones].... The collective findings to date support a protective effect of polyphenols on kidney tissue. Thus, considering that injury of papillary tissue constitutes the first step in the development of COM papillary calculi, the antioxidant action of polyphenols may contribute significantly to their antilithiasic action."Link
4.Associated topics: pneumonia — "Essential Oil Diffusion [lavender, marjoram, balsam fir, and peppermint] for the Treatment of Persistent Oxygen Dependence in a Three-Year-Old Child With Restrictive Lung Disease With Respiratory Syncytial Virus [RSV] Pneumonia: A 3-year-old female with central core disorder, a static myopathy affecting type one muscle fibers, with an 18-day history of oxygen requirement, acute desaturation episodes on high-flow oxygen, and persistent upper-lobe atelectasis... experienced a rapid reduction in oxygen requirement when treated with diffused plant essential oils after insufficient response to N-acetylcysteine (NAC) and dornase alfa."Link
5.Associated topics: pneumonia — "Thujaplicin, a minor component of Aomori Hiba [Hinoki], showed rather strong antifungal activity against seven kinds of plant-pathogenic fungi.... Thujaplicin and hinokitiol (the major component of Aomori Hiba [Hinoki]) also showed clear antibacterial activity against Legionella pneumophila SG 1 and L. pneumophila SG 3 [Legionnaires disease, pneumonia].... This compound showed strong insecticidal activity against Reticulitermes speratus [termites], and it also had clear acaricidal [ticks, mites] activity against Dermatophagoides farinae [house dust mites].... [T]he strong cytotoxic effect of Thujaplicin on murine P388 lymphocytic leukemia cell line [CLL, chronic lymphocytic leukemia] should be emphasized...."Link
6.Associated topics: alzheimer's-disease — "[N]utraceuticals derived from such spices as turmeric, red pepper, black pepper, licorice, clove, ginger, garlic, coriander, and cinnamon target inflammatory pathways, and thereby may prevent neurodegenerative diseases."Link
