Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.
We moved to "tornado alley" in May of 2006. My dog, Woofy, is just terrified of the thunderstorms. Often I have to get up out of bed and go to the basement to sleep beside him, or I just don't sleep.
This year, I bought a homeopathic for him but it didn't help. However with the last thunderstorm, I remembered how Lavender oil calms, so I just put some on my hands and rubbed a bit on his muzzle and down his back. In no time at ALL, Woofy laid down and was calm as could be.
Now I keep Lavender on the kitchen table so it's handy at all times.
