Warning: Not all essential oil brands are the same quality. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that the oil you are using is made from pesticide-free plants grown in optimal conditions. Also, the brand should be a 100% pure, high-quality essential oil that does not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask trusted friends to find a brand that is reputable.
Before we really got involved with Young Living Essential Oils, we had some cheaper oils that we purchased from a local Health Food Store. One day, after spending too much time out in the sun, my wife came home with a horrible sunburn. Knowing that Lavender is good for burns, I rubbed some on her back. This was a huge mistake, as her body had a bad reaction to this particular "cheap" oil.
This summer she received another bad sunburn while being at the water park. We again applied Lavender, but this time used Young Living's because they are therapeutic-grade. Not only was there no allergic reaction, but it actually comforted her burn. This will forever serve as a reminder to our family that not all oils are equal!
