I live in a very dry and dusty area which is worse in the winter with indoor heat. My lips were dry and cracked. Foolishly I ignored it. I developed a cold sore, ignored that, it healed eventually but soon started again.

Finally, I woke up and applied Lavender Oil. the pain relief was instantaneous and the swelling and dryness were releived shortly after. In two days, my mouth was healed and I haven't had another one with not many changes in the climate yet. Had I applied the Lavender on my dry lips, I would have prevented the cold sore in the first place. I know this....How soon we forget, when we feel well after a crises, what got us there!
