If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that the oil you are using is made from pesticide-free plants grown in optimal conditions. Also, the brand should be a 100% pure, high-quality essential oil that does not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask trusted friends to find a brand that is reputable.
In November 2006, I noticed that one of my molars had become very sensitive to heat, cold, and then, any pressure whatsoever. This is the first tooth ache/pain I have had for over 30 years. It has given me new respect for people who deal with pain in their teeth and gums.
I began putting Thieves on the tooth and gum (was out of town - didn't have plain Clove oil or gel caps with me). This worked OK. However, by the time I got home, there was inflammation, due to infection, in the gum surrounding the root. After a bit of web searching, I realized that if I went to the dentist, I was looking at a round of antibiotics and a probable root canal. So, since I have hated going to the dentist since I was a little girl, even though I have a lovely and kind dentist now, I decided to first experiment with the infection with essential oils.
I began alternating Melaleuca Alternifolia (Tea Tree), Clove, Peppermint, and Oregano on my gums and tooth. They all helped and eased the pain and swelling for a while. I also began a course of one of my alternative antibiotic recipes (from Dr. David Stewart - Frankincense, Oregano, and Thieves), one capsule twice a day for ten days, just like the usual round of allopathic antibiotics.
I also created a spray of Melaleuca, Clove, and Roman chamomile in distilled water, which was move convenient than massaging the individual oils on the gums during meetings or when massaging. After 4 or 5 days, I was experiencing much reduced pain and inflammation. After a couple of weeks, a bit of pain appeared in another tooth/gum area. I started with the spray and the capsules. Again, within a few days, the pain was negligible and the inflammation was almost gone.
