I boiled water in the microwave at work and poured it into a cup. While walking with this cup I was bumped into by someone passing by in the hall at work and the water spilled on my hand.

I let cold water run over my hand then, after drying it, I applied a few drops of Lavender oil on my skin. The burning left me right away.
