Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

I looked over the "Benzene Issue" response from Young Living HQ carefully, read and re-read it! Here is what seems to be the crux of their reply, then I will give my opinion if you don't mind me sharing:

...world regulatory agencies can't set benzene limits for foods and beverages, because benzene occurs at normal natural levels in our food supply, ie eggs (1000-1900 ppb) haddock fish (200 ppb), beef (10 ppb) and at even lower levels in organic fruits/veggies.

Even though NingXia Red is a whole fruit infusion product and is not required to meet drinking water guidelines it tests at a minuscule 4 ppb. This is not only below the EPA's and WHO's stringent drinking water guidelines it is at the expected, natural level considering it's whole fruit ingredients.

From what I can see here, Young Living HQ personnel are saying that benzene can occur naturally in common, everyday foods...so the minuscule amount of benzene occurring in NingXia Red is naturally occurring and comes directly from the fruit used to make it. If it comes from a natural source and appears in minuscule amounts, it is not dangerous.

Young Living does have naturally occurring sodium benzoate in our NingXia Red juice. If we remove it, the juice will turn to rancid vinegar very quickly. Unless we are all going to make our own and consume it within a couple of days, this is the only way we are going to keep our NingXia Red shelf stable and healthy.

Me, myself and I would not hesitate to drink NingXia Red, dear ones! It has made such a huge difference in my health; and when I run out by accident for a few days, it is amazing how I can feel myself less happy, less energetic, having less stamina, etc.

Personally, I would not sweat the naturally occurring benzene, as many minerals are necessary for the body to work properly, like natural sodium. However, that is only the case in SMALL amounts, from totally clean sources and in it's naturally occurring state. Sounds to me like NXR fulfills all of those requirements...

I think Young Living has proven themselves to us enough times for us to believe that Ningxia Red juice is everything they have demonstrated through research. If my health is any indicator, I'd say it SURE IS!

I am still somewhat chemically sensitive since my Feb. 21, 2002 immune reponse...and very much so to benzene! I think that my drastically improved health is a strong recommendation for the juice being a superb product.

But colleagues, I am NOT a Naturopathic professional, I just drink the amazing juice!
