My sister-in-law called me and asked me what to do for poison ivy/poison oak. I didn't know so I went to my essential oils reference book and also to I love this website!

My sister-in-law already had the Thieves oil blend and Peppermint and one of the testimonials said to use both. So that's what she did, she applied both of them neat about 3x per day and after the third day it was virtually dried up.

As far as I know that is a record for poison ivy/oak.

In the past when I have had it, I can count on about two weeks for my skin to return to normal.
