And you thought it was just a song.... but my kids won't go camping without it.
The kids were going camping over the Fourth of July weekend with family and friends. My youngest daughter wanted something to make her sleeping bag user friendly all weekend.
So I blended witch hazel with whatever leftover dabs I had in my essential oil bottles of Rosemary, Sage, and Thyme. Then I poured this mixture to several small spray bottles. Each child got a bottle to apply to their shorts, shirts, sleeping bags, towels, and the interior of their tent.
The result was a very hot but fun holiday with no chiggers, no spiders in the tents, and fewer mosquitoes over all. The sleeping bags even smelled better upon return than when they left.
My daughter plans to use the spray in her gym locker upon returning to school. The simplest things appear to work best.
