Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.
My daughter had a little too much "fun" in the sun last weekend and had a pretty bad case of sun burn. She was having trouble sleeping and asked me if I had anything that I thought might help. I recently burned my hand by spilling hot cofee on it and found almost immediate relief by using Young Living essential oil of Lavender. I also had a supposed "quality" Lavender oil from another company in a slightly larger quantity, so I applied this oil to my daughters arms and her neck/upper chest area. Her arms were not as burned as her neck/upper chest. My daughter told me that this oil had relieved the burning feeling a little bit on her arms but that her neck and chest were still burning and that she was not feeling any relief.
I told her to wait for about 30 minutes to see if the oil would eventually take effect. She waited impatiently and informed me after a half an hour that she needed something else. It was then that I decided to apply the Young Living essential oil, since that was the oil that helped my burn previously. I applied the Young Living oil to her neck and chest and she amazingly reported an immediate relief of any burning or irritation. This experience has completely convinced me that all oils are NOT created equal.
