I had a nice new white top that I noticed still had a spot on it when I went to iron it. It had been through the dryer, so I figured that the spot was set in.

I tried Tide with Bleach substitute, but that did not budge it. Bleach wouldn't work, because of the synthetic material. So then I thought, well, Lemon oil might do it but was reluctant to use it on the top since it was synthetic (lycra or something). I needed something that had Lemon oil in it, but buffered. So I put a dab of ART Gentle Foaming cleanser on the spot and let it sit. I washed it out and presto - the spot was gone!

I've since tried it on a mint green sweater that had gotten some red stains on it in the laundry (must have brushed up against something). The cleanser took the red out, which was great, but on closer inspection, it also lightened the mint, so be cautious about using this on colors.
