Tinnitus, Vertigo, mid-ear ringing

My husband was diagnosed with Meniers Vertigo nearly 6 years ago. He has had ringing and a static echo-like sound in his left ear since. Recently he started rubbing geranium, rose behind his ear lobe & on the bone, and geranium, peppermint and lavender neet on his toe tips. The first time he tried the oils and within 15 minutes, he noticed the static-echo sound was nearly gone. It does return, but doing this routine 2 times/day the sound has consistantly been lower.

A week later I purchased Helichrysum, following the steps in the Essential Oil Desk Reference with one drop on a cotton ball in the ear at night. The following day my husband realized for a time (15-20 minutes that he was aware of), the mid-ear ringing was completely gone! As he continues to practice these routines with the oils daily, the ringing has been consistantly lower. As suggested in one of the testimonials, he is also using Helichrysum behind the ear lobe at the bone, and now apply's that oil first on toe tips and then geranium and peppermint. Needless to say...we are quite pleased to have discovered the benefits of the oils.
