I've had a very difficult time letting go of my antiperspirant stick because in the past, when I tried to get away from the aluminum zirconium tetrachlorohydrex, my clothes and I started smelling by the end of the day.

However at the insistence of my husband, I decided to give the Young Living AromaGuard Meadow Mist deodorant he was using a try. As before, by the end of the day I started smelling. In the past, I scrubbed my underarms with rubbing alcohol and a cotton ball to kill the bacteria and odor.

So in desperation, my husband saw the bottle of Thieves Mouthwash on the counter and suggested I try cleaning my underarms with it instead of alcohol. I did, and then reapplied the Meadow Mist. It worked!

It appears that the gentle soap I use for dry skin on my body doesn't kill all the bacteria under my arms. So now I use Thieves Mouthwash on a cotton ball to clean under my arms after showering, then apply the Meadow Mist.

I can go 5 days on a hiking/camping trip without smelling up my clothes now! It's wonderful!
