When I picked up my little schnauzer up from the groomer yesterday, I had no idea she was bleeding. They had accidentally cut one of her nails too short, and she was bleeding all over me and the car.
As soon as I got her home I knew I had to find something to stop the bleeding in a hurry or take her to the vet. Thankfully I remember reading somewhere that Helichrysum oil would stop a nose bleed, so I thought it was worth a try. I put one drop on the bleeding nail and it immediately stopped.
Not believing what I had just seen, I continued holding her, waiting for the bleeding to start again. It did not and it must have helped the pain as well, because she was off and playing moments later.
