Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

I tore my rotator cuff and was told by a sports surgeon that I would need surgery in order to gain use of my arm again.

At that time I was not able to put my hand up to brush my hair without using my other arm to bring it back down. I had no strength at all and to make matters worse the pain had travelled into my back and into my other arm.

Now I had tendonitis in both arms as well as the torn cuff. The Celebrex drug he gave me was not taking the pain away so he gave me a prescription for a stronger pain killer.

It was at this time I made up my mind to give the oils a try. I used many different ones but I got the best results when I used the Sulfurzyme supplement four times a day.

I also used a few drops of Wintergreen and Lemongrass oils on the bottom of my feet, arm and shoulder. I know it was this combination that worked for me.

After about a week I started to notice the difference, the pain was less intense and I felt my mobility was coming back. I kept up the routine of oils and Sufurzyme and was able to show my doctor that my tear was healing and that I wouldn't be having the surgery. He half jokingly said don't tell anyone else or I'll be out of business.

It took a little while to gain back all my strength where I could lift barbells again but Young Living products helped me avoid the surgery, took away the pain and gave me mobility of my arm again.

Supporting Scientific Studies
1.Associated topics: joints — "Ruxiang (Gummi olibanum), the dried gum resin of Boswellia carterii (BC) [frankincense], has been used in traditional Chinese medicine to alleviate pain and inflammation for thousands of years.... The data show that BC extract has significant anti-arthritic and anti-inflammation effects and suggest that these effects may be mediated via the suppression of pro-inflammatory cytokines."Link
2.Associated topics: joints — "We have demonstrated that Boswellia frereana [frankincense] prevents collagen degradation, and inhibits the production of pro-inflammatory mediators and MMPs. Due to its efficacy we propose that B. frereana should be examined further as a potential therapeutic agent for treating inflammatory symptoms associated with arthritis."Link
3.Associated topics: muscles — "[T]he effect of essential oils on skeletal and smooth muscle...: The first type of effect on skeletal muscle involved a contracture and inhibition of the twitch response to nerve stimulation shown by a sample of clary sage, dill, fennel, frankincense, and nutmeg; ...lavender reduced the twitch response alone."Link
4.Associated topics: joints, muscles — "Herbalists treat skin ailments, such as fungal infections (like candidiasis), wounds, eczema, and acne, with lavender oil. It is also used in a healing bath for joint and muscle pain. One study evaluating treatments for children with eczema found [that] it was therapeutic touch from the mother that improved symptoms; in other words, massage with and without essential oils (including lavender) both reduced the dry, scaly skin lesions. Another study found that lavender oil may improve pain control after surgery."Link
5.Associated topics: muscles — "In nine studies, Vitamin B12 (methylcobalamin) has shown effectiveness for arteriosclerosis, autism, Bells palsy, chemotherapy-induced toxicity, degenerative disc disease, detox, muscle wasting, muscular dystrophy, neuroblastoma, neuroprotection, oxidative stress, and spinal stenosis."Link
