Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

I visited with my daughter while in Illinois for Gary Young's talk in Feb 2006. My daughter used those air fan fresheners in her car to keep it smelling good. I got a headache on the way up and we were all coughing. Not a little cough but harsh coughing like I had something stuck in my throat.

On the way home I asked her if we could try something. We removed the air fresheners and no one was coughing when we got home.

The next day we took the air freshener and poured out what was left. I washed the inside and the wick down with Lemon oil and then soap and water. Next I put about 3 drops each of the Peace & Calming oil blend and Lavender in the bottle. Next I added a drop of my shampoo and then filled with water. When we went out that afternoon, we had three small children with us. They all went to sleep on our drive out. They had all been quite cranky before we left home.

My daughter now knows that those car deodorizers were causing illness. I didn't get any more headaches and we had some content children riding with us. The car by the way smelled wonderful!

She no longer uses those air fresheners in her house either. We have the Purification oil blend mixed with water in a spray bottle for when the kids get rambunctious, or the house develops odors from cooking. No toxic build up and wonder of wonders, the cough my daughter has had for months is gone.

Got to love these oils!
