I love how essential oils can lend a helping hand to a perpetual problem, especially for young kids. I make a mullein infused oil blend using, of course, mullein flowers from the top 1/3 of the plant. I infuse them in a quality olive oil for two weeks in the sun.
After straining out the flowers, I add Melaleuca Quinquenervia, Melaleuca Alternifoli and Lavender oil. Several drops are run down behind the ear on the bone, down below the jaw bone to the top of the breast bone. I have had several youngsters and even some adults use this remedy with great relief for earaches.
