Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

I dealt with numerous symptoms for years that I thought were menopause related and I just had to live with. But when I finally got my hormones balanced with the help of an expert doctor, using bioidentical hormones, most of the symptoms remained. Mainly it was the constant bloating no matter what I ate or didn't eat, constipation/diarrhea, dizziness/balance problems, brain fog, hoarseness, depression, belly fat I could not get rid of, sleep problems, and intolerance to cold.

After watching Isabella Wentz's web series on thyroid function, I realized I was not losing my mind after all. I demanded my doctor run the thyroid tests for free T3, free T4, and the antibody tests. You cannot rely on the standard TSH values; mine were low but still "normal." The result was I had elevated antibody levels, signifying Hashimoto's.

I tried the bioidentical thyroid hormones, but they only made me feel worse. I had learned from the series that SIBO (small intestine bacterial overgrowth) was a big trigger for thyroid problems and that Oregano oil helped. That sounded plausible, since I had so many digestive issues that prebiotics, probiotics, and fermented foods only exacerbated. I was never tested for SIBO but started taking Inner Defense capsules 3 times per day anyway. It was easier than mixing up an Oregano capsule, and Inner Defense contains Oregano oil anyway.

It worked like a miracle. Within 7-10 days the bloating was gone, I had dropped the 15 pounds I had put on in my belly, and other symptoms had resolved as well. I had more blood work done 3 months later, and all thyroid levels were back to normal. If you think this is you, I would strongly recommend you check out Isabella's website.

Other digestive issues causing thyroid problems are h.pylori (think food poisoning) and candida, which Inner Defense will also help with, and low stomach acid, which can be remedied by taking betaine with pepsin (another tip from Isabella).
