Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

I noticed a rash on my left arm early on a Sunday morning. My neighbor's daughter has had shingles before and she confirmed the rash looked similar plus it was very painful. Hardly able to tolerate clothes on it.

So I started my research on this website. Inner Defense was first on the list to support my immune system. I also added Sulfurzyme since it supports every cell and Super B since it improves the efficacy of Sulfurzyme.

Then I made a roller bottle using:

* 10 drops of German Chamomile
* 5 drops of Lavender
* 4 drops of Frankincense (it called for Sandalwood but I didn't have that)
* 2 drops of Geranium
* 25 drops of V6 mixing oil

I put 2 drops of Thieves on my feet twice a day along with Mountain Savory in the morning which helped my energy levels.

I had a Raindrop session with 3-4 drops each of Oregano, Thyme, Mountain Savory, lots of V6 mixing oil and then a dry towel with a warm pack over it. I let sit for 15 minutes. The second step included using 4-8 drops each of Juniper, Geranium and Peppermint oils, dry towel and ice pack for 30 minutes.

After 5 days I upped my dose of Super B to 2 tablets 3 times a day. That made a huge difference. I will make sure I take my Super B every day from now on to support my stress levels.

Along the way I used lots of the Stress Away blend, Ravensara oil and anything else I thought would be helpful.

It was pretty painful for at least five days but never had the weeping stage, just broke out and then subsided. I'm in day 8 right now and there is some tingling like my arm is asleep but not the terrible can't sleep pain.

Thank you God for providing these oils!

Supporting Scientific Studies
1.Associated topics: immune-system — "DHEA [a component of PD 80/20], an androstene hormone [precursor to estrogen, testosterone, progesterone, cortisone, and other hormones], has been shown to possess a wide range of beneficial biological effects mainly attributed to immune system modulation.... thus leading to beneficial effects in diverse human diseases including resistance to infection, neuroprotection, wound healing, diabetes, hepatic injury, cardiovascular disease, and cancer."Link
2.Associated topics: immune-system — "Immunomodulatory activity of frankincense oil: Biologically, the oil exhibited a strong immunostimulant activity (90% lymphocyte transformation) when assessed by a lymphocyte proliferation assay."Link
3.Associated topics: immune-system — "Anti-inflammatory, spasmolytic [muscle spasms], antimicrobial, antioxidant, carminative [flatulence] and immunomodulatory properties of caraway suggest that it might exert beneficial effects on inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).... CHE and CEO [caraway essential oil] at all doses tested were effective in reducing colon tissue lesions and colitis indices and the efficacy was nearly the same when different doses of plant fractions were administered p.o. or i.p..... These data suggest that caraway fractions are both effective and possess anti-colitic activity irrespective of the dose and route of administration."Link
4.Associated topics: nerve-pain,shingles — "The patient was successfully treated with topical peppermint oil [for postherpetic neuralgia, a complication of shingles].... The authors believe this is the first evidence of peppermint oil (or menthol) having a strong analgesic effect on neuropathic pain."Link
5.Associated topics: nerve-pain — "Ameliorative effects of Ocimum sanctum [holy basil] in sciatic nerve transection-induced neuropathy...."Link
6.Associated topics: immune-system — "These results suggest that the volatile oil of ginger influences both cell-mediated immune response and nonspecific proliferation of T lymphocyte, and may exert beneficial effects in a number of clinical conditions, such as chronic inflammation and autoimmune diseases."Link
7.Associated topics: nerve-pain — "Topical high-concentration L-menthol is the only established human experimental pain model to study mechanisms underlying cold hyperalgesia. We aimed at investigating the combinatorial effect of cold stimuli and topical L-menthol on cold pain and secondary mechanical hyperalgesia. Cold detection threshold and cold pain threshold (CPT) increased after L-menthol and remained high after the cold rekindling cycles.... Skin blood flow increased after L-menthol and stayed stable after cold cycles. Repeated application of cold on skin treated by L-menthol facilitated and prolonged L-menthol-induced cold pain and hyperalgesia."Link
