Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

My husband knew nothing about essential oils when we began dating, but he quickly learned just how powerful and effective they can be. We were on a ski trip, and since I don't ski as well as he does, we'd made a plan to meet up at the lodge to have lunch together. Waiting for him at the base of the gondola I was horrified when he disembarked with a gushing nose bleed!

There are a few oils I carry with me at all times for emergencies, and Helichrysm is one of them. It's a powerful coagulator and it often works in seconds. I didn't waste a minute in dabbing onto the side of his nose just a few drops while he got out his tissues and began dabbing. Moments later he was stunned: his nosebleed had stopped nearly instantly!

Over lunch he told me that nose bleeds of the gushing type were his norm while skiing. The dry air, the altitudes and cold all go into making his nasal passages super dry. But, he said, he's always had to wait for at least 20 minutes for the bleeding to stop, uncomfortable with wads of blood-soaked tissues shoved up his nose. He said he had never had one stop so quickly and completely before.

When we married shortly after, I asked him to get a full check up just to be sure and our doctor confirmed that my husband was completely healthy. He said some of us just have weaker or thinner tissues and that he'd most likely "always" have to endure nose bleeds.

Fast forward 10 years and my husband suffers no more! Over time the use of Young Living's Helichrysm oil has not only stopped any nosebleed he's suffered in it's tracks, but this and a few other oils like Lavender - along with a few sessions of EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques), the self-applied acupressure method that I work with in my energy practice have helped build up his tissues. We've used oils and EFT together to help him release everything from "this pattern" to the underlying causes, to fear of it happening again.

Now when he does have nosebleeds, which is more rare than the norm, they are light and immediately stopped with the application of even just ONE drop of Helichrysum oil!

Thanks to this amazing oil and dear Gary Young, Young Living oils have made my husband's ski experience pleasant, his health better, and made it so I'm never scared witless with blood gushing from my husband's face!

Supporting Scientific Studies
1.Associated topics: nosebleed-/-bloody-nose-/-epistaxis — "[A] pulverized mixture of four herbs including Agrimonia Eupatoria (A), Nelumbo Nucifera Gaertn (N), Boswellia Carteri (B) [Frankincense], and Pollen Typhae Angustifoliae (P)... was first described in Chinese canonical medicine about 2000 years ago for treatment of various trauma disorders, such as hemostasis [bleeding], anti-inflammatory, analgesia [pain], and wound healing, etc.... [W]e showed that local ANBP treatment not only significantly enhanced wound healing by relieving inflammation, increasing formation of granulation tissue, and accelerating re-epithelialization, but [it] also reduced scar formation by decreasing collagen production [and] protuberant height and volume of scars and [by] increasing collagen maturity.... [Results show that ANBP] promot[es] wound healing and alleviat[es] scar formation, which may be an effective therapy for human wounds at the earliest stage."Link
2.Associated topics: helichrysum-oil — "...its flowers and leaves are the most used parts in the treatment of health disorders such as allergies, colds, cough, skin, liver and gallbladder disorders, inflammation, infections and sleeplessness... In vitro studies characterized Helichrysum as an antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory agent. Its flavonoids and terpenes were effective against bacteria (e.g. Staphylococcus aureus), its acetophenones, phloroglucinols and terpenoids displayed antifungal action against Candida albicans and its flavonoids and phloroglucinols inhibited HSV and HIV, respectively.... Regarding Helichrysum italicum in vivo activity, the highlight goes to ...the anti-inflammatory properties exhibited by its flavonoids, acetophenones and phloroglucinols, as seen in animal models."Link
