Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

I have been meaning to pen my story here for so long and felt bad for not having gotten round to it. I actually have a series of short stories, because the more I've experimented with the oils, the more things I've discovered they work for.

So here goes...

It all started when we discovered I had an 11 cm cyst on my right ovary. I was rushed in for an emergency operation and all went well due to my amazing consultant gynecologist!

The surgery was invasive though and it took me six months to recover fully. It only took me a few weeks to forget about what'd happened and I continued on with life "business as usual". However, on a routine check-up with my gynecologist, they discovered another serious cyst on my ovary that required another operation. I was mortified!

I asked the doctors what it was I was doing to cause these cysts, and they put it down to "bad luck". Not content with this and the prospect of another operation, I opted to try some natural remedies to see if I could fix it with substantially less trauma to my body and at a lower financial cost.

I consulted a detox specialist and went on a cleanse, which meant eliminating meat, dairy, pasta, potatoes, sugars and anything else not good from my diet. I replaced most meals with freshly squeezed vegetable juices and smoothies (minimal sugar from fruits).

I ate trail mix, home-made broths, soups and salads when I became really hungry or bored. I also used Global Healing Center's Oxy Powder, and Flora's Flor-Essence Herbal Cleanse.

This totally cleared out my system and put my body in the best position to receive the full benefits of the essential oils. For hormonal and ovarian support I used the following:

Blend 1: 9 drops Frankincense, 5 drops Clary Sage, 5 drops Myrrh, 2 drops Thyme, 2 drops Rosemary

Blend 2: 4 drops Frankincense, 4 drops Geranium, 2 drops Oregano

I used these blends interchangeably, adding them to vegetable capsules and swallowing them twice a day, morning and night. I would also rub the oils on my abdomen twice a day. I didn't do it in any particular order, but layered the oils on at my convenience.

At times when I got cramping or twinges in my abdomen that were particularly uncomfortable, I would make up the same blends in a saucer, add some V6 vegetable oil, and then use an organic tampon to soak the mixture up. I would then insert the tampon and keep it in overnight.

I would also make up a castor oil pack (see my blog for instructions) and sleep with it resting on my abdomen with a hot water bottle over night. The support the oils provided was phenomenal!

After all my efforts, my ovarian cyst completely resolved by itself. It disappeared with no need for another operation because I made good choices so that my body could assist itself.

That was victory number 1.

A few months later, I again fell back into bad habits (eating problem foods, not exercising smartly, and using personal care products with toxic chemicals). Why did I revert back to my old ways? Because it was easy and cheap, and I'd also run out of most of my lovely oils.

Low and behold, I started to experience abdominal pain again. My next trip to the gynecologist revealed I had a hydrosalpinx, which is where the fallopian tube fills up with liquid and becomes blocked. The hydrosalpinx was caused by my body trying to fix the trauma it had experienced during my first (and only) operation.

There are few to no medical remedies for hydrosalpinx, other than having the fallopian tube and connected ovary removed. Feeling very fed up and hopeless by this point. I half gave up.

However, what I did thankfully do is begin to rub the same oil blends I'd use previously (the oils I had left over) on my abdomen.

On my next check up, it was confirmed that my hydrosalpinx had resolved.

I am SO thankful that I've found a way to help my body assist itself naturally! Because of these experiences, I will remain a detox enthusiast and life long user of high quality essential oils.
