Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

In May of 2006 I was diagnosed with kidney disease. I was at 29% kidney function by my medical doctor.

Then in November 10, 2016, I went to my first nephrology appointment. My function had dropped 3% further from May until November.

So, I started using a regimen of dōTERRA essential oils and just went to another nephrology appointment. Fortunately she said that my kidneys have leveled out.

Here is what I have been using each morning:

* 1 drop Helichrysum rubbed over each kidney
* 1 drop of the Zendocrine oil blend over each kidney
* 1 drop of Juniper rubbed over each kidney
* 1 drop of Geranium oil rubbed over both kidneys

All of these I will be increasing the drops at night time. Since the Juniper Berry and Helichrysum come in a 5 ml bottle, I put them in a 15 ml empty bottle that I have on hand and fill the rest with fractionated coconut oil.

They do a great job because the oils are so strong, one drop is very powerful. For example, 1 drop of Peppermint oil is equal to 28 cups of peppermint tea at $.08 cents per drop.

I also take:

* DDR Prime oil blend - 1 capsule morning and 1 capsule at night
* Zendocrine - 1 capsule in the morning and 1 capsule at night

When you are fighting something within your body, you have to be proactive. You are in a curative state, not a preventative state, so, you will use different products and more often until you start healing. Then you can start tapering off.

Supporting Scientific Studies
1.Associated topics: oxidative-stress — "Lavender essential oil displays the stronger antioxidant activity against lipid peroxidation in a linoleic acid model system and good antibacterial activity against four rhinitis-related bacteria including staphylococcus aureus, Micrococcus ascoformans, Proteus vulgaris, and Escherichia coli."Link
2.Associated topics: kidney-disease,oxidative-stress,kidneys — "Many plant extracts that protect against the development of oxidative stress manifest clear antilithiasic activity [preventing the formation of or relieving the symptoms of kidney stones].... Evidence obtained to date supports a contributory role of polyphenols [present in essential oils] in the prevention of cardiovascular disease, some cancer types, and osteoporosis.... The results show an improvement of the renal function in some treated groups with an increase of diuresis and creatinine excretion due to polyphenols pretreatment. Our results clearly validate the ability of polyphenols to protect against papillary calcification of kidney tissue, consequently preventing the development of papillary calculi [kidney stones].... The collective findings to date support a protective effect of polyphenols on kidney tissue. Thus, considering that injury of papillary tissue constitutes the first step in the development of COM papillary calculi, the antioxidant action of polyphenols may contribute significantly to their antilithiasic action."Link
3.Associated topics: oxidative-stress — "In the present study, we have evaluated the gastroprotective activity of turmeric essential oil (TEO) and ginger essential oil (GEO) in rats.... Histopathological examination showed that ethanol-induced lesions such as necrosis, erosion, and hemorrhage of the stomach wall were significantly reduced after oral administration of essential oils.... Results suggest that TEO and GEO could reduce the gastric ulcer in rat stomach as seen from the ulcer index and histopathology of the stomach. Moreover, oxidative stress produced by ethanol was found to be significantly reduced by TEO and GEO."Link
4.Associated topics: oxidative-stress — "Anti-inflammatory, spasmolytic [muscle spasms], antimicrobial, antioxidant, carminative [flatulence] and immunomodulatory properties of caraway suggest that it might exert beneficial effects on inflammatory bowel disease (IBD).... CHE and CEO [caraway essential oil] at all doses tested were effective in reducing colon tissue lesions and colitis indices and the efficacy was nearly the same when different doses of plant fractions were administered p.o. or i.p..... These data suggest that caraway fractions are both effective and possess anti-colitic activity irrespective of the dose and route of administration."Link
5.Associated topics: oxidative-stress — "Phytogenic compounds with antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties are currently discussed as promising complementary agents in prevention and treatment of inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Our study aimed to evaluate possible protective and curative effects of broccoli extract (BE) and of the essential oils of turmeric (Cuo), thyme (To), and rosemary (Ro) in a rat model with a mild dextran sulphate sodium- (DSS-) induced colitis.... We conclude that the phytogenic additives tested have a promising anti-inflammatory potential in vivo and a particular role in the prevention of IBD."Link
6.Associated topics: oxidative-stress — "Burn Healing Potential of Nigella sativa seed oil in rats.... Nigella sativa L. (Black cumin) has shown a broad spectrum of pharmacological effects like antipyretic [fever reducing], analgesic [pain reducing], anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial.... The present study suggests the burn wound healing action of seeds may be due to anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and antimicrobial activities of major compounds in the oil."Link
7.Associated topics: oxidative-stress — "[T]he biological activity of 20 essential oils (EOs) from herbal plants and citrus fruits were investigated in terms of mammalian DNA polymerase (pol) inhibitory activity, cancer cell (human colon carcinoma) growth inhibitory activity, antiallergic activity... in rat basophilic leukemia cells, and antioxidant activity.... Among these EOs, chamomile... showed significant effects on both cancer cell growth and mast cell degranulation. On the basis of these results, chamomile EO can be recommended as a potentially useful, bioactive candidate for therapeutic applications."Link
8.Associated topics: oxidative-stress — "14 plant essential oils -- anise (Pimpinella anisum), bay leaves (Laurus nobilis), cinnamon bark (Cinnamomum verum), clove (Eugenia caryophyllata), fennel (Foeniculum vulgare), hop (Humulus lupulus), Istanbul oregano (Origanum vulgare subsp. hirtum), Izmir oregano (Origanum onites), [pepper]mint (Mentha piperita), myrtus (Myrtus communis), orange peel (Citrus sinensis), sage (Salvia officinalis), thyme (Thymbra spicata), and Turkish oregano (Origanum minutiflorum) -- were related to inhibition of 10 bacteria... four Gram-positive bacteria of Listeria innocua, coagulase-negative staphylococci, Staphylococcus aureus, and Bacillus subtilis, and six Gram-negative bacteria of Yersinia enterocolitica [causes Yersiniosis], Salmonella Enteritidis, Salmonella Typhimurium, Proteus mirabilis [causes UTIs], Escherichia coli O157:H7, and Klebsiella oxytoca.... [R]elative to anise essential oil, the essential oils of oreganos, cinnamon, and thyme had consistently high inhibitory effects.... [B]eta-bisabolene (Turkish and Istanbul oreganos), and terpinolene (thyme) were found to be the most inhibitory compounds regardless of the bacteria type tested."Link
