I have struggled my entire adult life with the side effects of PCOS, especially irregular periods. For those who do not know, PCOS refers to Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. I never have a period that is on any cycle and, if I happen to have one 2 months in a row, then its a miracle! My cycles are usually more around 34 days.
Recently my sister-in-law gave me Peppermint essential oil for Christmas and I used it on my daughter because her tummy was upset. Within 24 hours I started my period.
I thought it was a coincidence but I have continued to use the Peppermint for headaches and whatnot and my period now comes every month like clockwork! I cannot believe it!
Using essential oils are the only change I have made in my life!

|8.||Associated topics: period, menstruation — "[T]he level and duration of menstrual pain and the amount of menstrual bleeding were significantly lower in the aromatherapy group than in the placebo group. These results suggest that aromatherapy is effective in alleviating menstrual pain, its duration, and excessive menstrual bleeding.
