Warning: Not all essential oil brands are the same quality. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that the oil you are using is made from pesticide-free plants grown in optimal conditions. Also, the brand should be a 100% pure, high-quality essential oil that does not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask trusted friends to find a brand that is reputable.

I have been a longtime sufferer of allergies and sinus congestion. This is mostly due to a lovely deviated septum that I was born with.

I have tried every allergy and decongestant medicine out there with no success. After finding therapeutic-grade essential oils, I have finally found some relief. Bonus is that I do not have to take a pill or shoot chemicals up my nose every day anymore!

For allergies, I put a drop of Lavender essential oil on a Q-tip and twirl it around in my nose. This may sting initially, but it stings in a good way that lets me know it is working.

For any sinus headaches or pressure, I apply Peppermint essential oil to the bridge of my nose and on any sinus spots (eyebrows, cheekbones, etc.). The Peppermint oil relieves any of these uncomfortable areas immediately. Then I reapply every two hours or as needed.

Supporting Scientific Studies
1."The result for the primary end point was validated by the amelioration of the following secondary end points: headache on bending, frontal headache, sensitivity of pressure points of trigeminal nerve, impairment of general condition, nasal obstruction, and rhinological secretion.... In patients with acute nonpurulent rhinosinusitis, timely treatment with cineole [a.k.a. eucalyptol... found in eucalyptus, camphor laurel, laurus nobilis, tea tree, mugwort, basil, wormwood, rosemary, sage, and cannabis] is effective and safe before antibiotics are indicated."Link
2."This controlled study showed for the first time that a 10% peppermint oil in ethanol solution efficiently alleviates tension-type headache. Peppermint oil thus proves to be a well-tolerated and cost-effective alternative to usual therapies."Link
3."Cineole has mucolytic, bronchodilating and anti-inflammatory properties and reduces the exacerbation rate in patients suffering from COPD, as well as ameliorates symptoms in patients suffering from asthma and rhinosinusitis.... The effects of Cineole in the treatment of acute bronchitis were clearly measurable and could be proven after a treatment period of merely 4 days. This study corroborates the fact that Cineole actively and significantly reduces cough frequency after four days."Link
4."Peppermint and its active ingredient menthol have long been used for the treatment of various pain conditions including headache.... Menthol solution can be an efficacious, safe and tolerable therapeutic option for the abortive treatment of migraine."Link
