Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

I experience frequent vaginal yeast infections, and I blame this on my diet and food allergies. After reviewing testimonials about yeast infections, I began to experiment with my essential oils to see if they might provide some support in helping me to manage my vaginal discomfort.

For this, I mixed half a cup of warm coconut oil with 6 drops of the Melrose essential oil blend and 6 drops of Lavender essential oil. Next I stirred the mixture with a small spoon until completely whipped. I then placed this mixture in the fridge for a couple of minutes to cool it.

Using clean hands, I dipped two fingers into the mixture for a small, nickel-sized dollop. I applied this directly to my vulva and inside my vagina.

This provided a nice, cooling feeling, and the itchiness quickly subsided. It was truly an amazing feeling after dealing with that discomfort for a couple of days.

I followed this protocol for seven nights, along with taking a prebiotic/probiotic supplement. By the end of the week I was feeling much like my old self again.

Now and again I feel a little itchiness, typically before I start my menstrual period. So I break out my little mixture, and I gently rub the oily contents on the labia and vulva areas.

This always provides me with immediate relief.

It is also used in a healing bath for joint and muscle pain. One study evaluating treatments for children with eczema found [that] it was therapeutic touch from the mother that improved symptoms; in other words, massage with and without essential oils (including lavender) both reduced the dry, scaly skin lesions. Another study found that lavender oil may improve pain control after surgery."Link
3.Associated topics: candida — "It is suggested that the in vivo effect of tea tree oil ointment in the therapy of fungal infections of the skin and mucous membranes as well as in the treatment of dandruff, a mild form of seborrheic dermatitis, may be at least partly due to an antifungal activity of tea tree oil."Link
