The allergy trio is a recommended combination of essential oils that can support your body to avoid reactions to allergens. I've used Lavender, Peppermint, and Lemon essential oils daily and have been able to avoid what have been problematic allergies.
For example, cats give me hives, make my eyes swell, and cause my throat to itch. It's an ugly allergy, but the allergy trio has helped me manage and avoid any reaction to cats.
I actually drink the Peppermint and Lemon in water daily, and I diffuse or apply Lavender. I don't have to use them all the same way to get all the benefits. I usually just use a couple of drops of each.
If I have an allergic reaction and get red, itchy eyes, I like to use one drop of Lavender neat (undiluted). I rub it around the eye bone, avoiding the eye itself. This may make my eyes water at first, but I've had great and quick results.
My father-in-law had been suffering from severe eye allergies. However, he has also found relief using Lavender oil. Even special eye drops recommended by the doctor had not aided him nearly as well.
