Five months after my second child's birth, I got my first hemorrhoid! I discovered it by accident, and I knew I had caught it early. It hadn't been giving me any grief and was roughly the size of a black bean.
Regardless, it was depressing, and I had a friend that said they were terrible. I definitely did not want this to be a problem for myself, so I checked my essential oils reference book.
That night I put a drop of Purification essential oil blend on some toilet paper and just let it set on the area for a few minutes. When I checked in the morning, the hemorrhoid was gone! I was amazed because I was expecting weeks of issues.
Now I always treat a hemorrhoid right away whenever another one pops up. Consequently, I've never had any major issues with hemorrhoids -- no bleeding, bad itching, or pain. They're just there.
I've run out of the Purification oil blend since my first run-in, so I've been using the Melrose essential oil blend recently. I dilute with coconut oil and apply one drop to the area. I wait a few minutes to let it soak in before resuming normal activities.
Personally, I think I preferred the Purification, but that's just an opinion. Melrose has worked as well. I usually do one drop of that for three nights and then check. It's generally taken care of.
I had also made a spray of 10 ounces of water and 3 drops of Purification for counter cleaning. So when I ran out of Purification oil, I decided to try the mixture in the spray bottle on my hemorrhoids and was again amazed!
The amount of oil I would have been getting per spray had to be a tiny amount due to the water/oil ratio and yet it still took care of my hemorrhoids immediately!
