Warning: Not all essential oil brands are the same quality. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that the oil you are using is made from pesticide-free plants grown in optimal conditions. Also, the brand should be a 100% pure, high-quality essential oil that does not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask trusted friends to find a brand that is reputable.

I often hear stories of people who have had knee surgery. While I hear success stories, I still want to avoid surgery as much as possible, if not altogether.

I am a large woman, and there are times that I feel like my knees are in a weakened state. I walk a bit differently -- or baby them -- with concern of them giving out.

I read about Lemongrass essential oil helping with supporting tissue health. Even though it didn't feel like one of my most "powerful" essential oils, I tried it. After a few applications (maybe 2 drops twice a day for 3 days), I noticed considerable improvement.

I am able to stop using the Lemongrass essential oil, and my knees do fine for a while again. Then occasionally there comes a time when I do too much. When the issue recurs, I apply Lemongrass again.

I am very pleased to have this solution to my discomfort. I turn to my essential oils before I turn to anything else.

Supporting Scientific Studies
1."Herbalists treat skin ailments, such as fungal infections (like candidiasis), wounds, eczema, and acne, with lavender oil. It is also used in a healing bath for joint and muscle pain. One study evaluating treatments for children with eczema found [that] it was therapeutic touch from the mother that improved symptoms; in other words, massage with and without essential oils (including lavender) both reduced the dry, scaly skin lesions. Another study found that lavender oil may improve pain control after surgery."Link
2."We have demonstrated that Boswellia frereana [frankincense] prevents collagen degradation, and inhibits the production of pro-inflammatory mediators and MMPs. Due to its efficacy we propose that B. frereana should be examined further as a potential therapeutic agent for treating inflammatory symptoms associated with arthritis."Link
3."Ruxiang (Gummi olibanum), the dried gum resin of Boswellia carterii (BC) [frankincense], has been used in traditional Chinese medicine to alleviate pain and inflammation for thousands of years.... The data show that BC extract has significant anti-arthritic and anti-inflammation effects and suggest that these effects may be mediated via the suppression of pro-inflammatory cytokines."Link
