After learning that my neighbor helped her husband with a stage 4 melanoma, I decided to try Frankincense essential oil on a growth on my face. I don't know if this was a problem, but I wanted it gone. It was about 3/8 inch in diameter, very black, thick and crusty.
I put a bottle of Frankincense essential oil on my desk so I would remember to put a drop on the growth 3 times a day. After 3 to 4 weeks, it felt like it was pulling out the roots, and the crust was starting to break off a little.
Slowly over the next 10 days the whole thing came off in pieces. At first the skin underneath was raw; but soon it was fresh and new, and now there is no trace of the growth.
For a 66-year-old woman, I'm thrilled with what the essential oils are doing for my skin.
