Warning: Not all essential oil brands are the same quality. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that the oil you are using is made from pesticide-free plants grown in optimal conditions. Also, the brand should be a 100% pure, high-quality essential oil that does not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask trusted friends to find a brand that is reputable.

We are almost brand new to Young Living. Like many of us, we are still looking around to find out what works best for what (which has begun to calm down recently).

We have been realizing that we should not be so afraid to just try and use what we have on hand, rather than search out the perfect recipe. This chain of thought was put in place when our daughter came down with an infection in October 2014. We unfortunately were without health insurance at the time.

We instinctively knew that it was an ear infection (otitis) because she gets them all the time, and we furthermore knew that we could not afford to take her to the doctor. We did not know what to do; but we used our better judgment, and these are the essential oils that we used:

1 drop of Thieves blend behind the ear
1 drop of Frankincense behind the ear
1 drop of Lemon behind the ear
1 drop of RC blend on the rim of the ear

We repeated this protocol 2 times a day for 2 days.

Additional keyword(s) assigned by the editor: earache, earaches, otitus.
