My son was born in November 2013, and I used Young Living essential oils on him daily. I diffused them in my home each day and he has lived his first year of life without sickness! Other than teething or a little gas from what he might have eaten, my son has been the happiest baby alive!
The essential oils that I have used topically on my son daily:
* DiGize blend clockwise on his tummy before bed nightly.
* One drop of Frankincense under his tongue before bed nightly and an extra drop if we have been exposed to illness.
* Lavender and Peace & Calming blend before naps and bedtime.
The essential oils that I have been diffusing daily:
* Thieves blend from August to March.
* Purification blend from April to July.
The essential oils that I have used for teething:
* Copaiba directly on the gums.
* Clove and Thieves blend for a little more numbing effect on the gums.
* PanAway behind his ears to keep fluid off the ears and to help with teething discomfort.
I applied Thieves blend on my son's feet if we were exposed to sickness or were making a trip to the store. I also nursed him for his first year, and I drank 2 ounces of NingXia Red juice daily.
When my son was able to take a sippy cup at 9 months, I put 1/2 ounce of NingXia Red in his cup, diluted with distilled or filtered water. I started him on table food at 9 months, first with raw fruits and veggies,then I introduced einkorn wheat at 11 months. I also started giving him a sippy cup of almond milk at one year old.
At his one-year checkup, he weighed 21 pounds and was in the 75th percentile for his age. We have been very blessed to have a healthy baby!
