My 4-year-old son has had two sets of tubes prior to his recent ENT (ear, nose, and throat) visit. Once again he failed the hearing test; the doctor saw a lot of fluid behind his ears.
Surgery for tubes was recommended once again. This time I asked the doctor for one month to try natural remedies since the tubes have failed twice already.
For one month I used a few drops of the Melrose essential oil blend behind my son's ears and down his neck to rid the ears of fluid. His nose began to run, so I figured that is how the fluid had to leave the body.
I also used a few drops of the Thieves essential oil blend on his feet nightly and I removed all dairy from his diet.
We went back a month later to the ENT doctor, and he saw no fluid in either ear. My son passed his hearing test!
Surgery was not needed, and my son was released from coming back to the ENT because his ears looked so good!
