Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

On Thanksgiving Eve my 2-year-old woke in the middle of the night crying that her ear hurt. We did not know what to do, as we were traveling. We did not have children's pain relievers available, and doctor offices would all be closed the next day for the holiday. As a last resort, we decided to try using essential oils.

We applied Purification essential oil blend to her outer ear (never inside the ear), followed by a layer of coconut oil. There was no change, so we applied Lavender essential oil. There was still no change, so then we tried Melaleuca (Tea Tree) essential oil. Still there was no change, so we tried Melrose essential oil blend. At this point my daughter was ready to go back to bed.

She slept for a short time and then woke up crying again. We repeated the application of all four essential oils, and once again she went back to sleep. After a short time she woke up crying again, so we put the oils on a third time. At that point she went to sleep and slept for HOURS!

My daughter was fine the next morning when she finally woke up. Though essential oils do not "cure" earaches, fortunately we never had to take her in to the doctor. That is a real reason to be thankful on Thanksgiving!
