My husband tends to get a stye in his eye about twice a year. In the past he has used a cream from the drugstore to help alleviate it.
Just recently a stye started surfacing, and it was irritating him. I got excited because this was my first real opportunity to try out my new essential oils. I applied Lavender essential oil around the eye twice a day. Then I observed it over the next few days.
On the first day the stye was visible, but it did not irritate him any longer. The second day was the same. On the third day I noticed the redness starting to dull. On the fourth day the redness had localized to one tiny spot, and then by the fifth day it was gone!
Now I am just itching for something else to resolve.
