Note: Not all essential oil brands are the same, and you get what you pay for. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that you are using oils from pesticide-free plants. Also, the brand should use 100% pure, high-quality essential oils that do not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask a trusted friend to find a brand that is reputable. Buyer beware.

When I first started using Young Living essential oils, I decided to work with my kids' allergies first. Their allergy flareups were so bad that sometimes they even caused asthma and eczema. I was weary of all the shots, nebulizer treatments, and inhalers.

My youngest used to not be able to spend any time outdoors during the fall months because he would get so sick that he could not breathe. At one point the doctors actually thought that he had cystic fibrosis because he had so much lung congestion!

Someone had told me to use Lemon, Lavender, and Peppermint essential oils on my kids. However, after five weeks the kids were still having problems. So I did a little research and came up with a recipe that actually worked on all three kids' allergies by the end of the next week.

So here is the recipe....

I blend together equal drops of each of these Young Living essential oils:

* Lemon
* Lavender
* Thieves
* Valor
* Raven
* Frankincense

We used the Peppermint essential oil separately in the palm of the hand and inhaled several times a day. I do not mix it into the blend because I think it cleanses the nasal passages better separately.

The kids applied the blend to the carotid artery and feet in the evening (because they did not want to smell like essential oils all day), and they applied to the feet in the daytime. We used more and more drops if we were not getting a fast enough response, and sometimes we even applied the blend under the nose as well.

One of my kids added Sulfurzyme capsules to the regimen with great results. The Animal Scents Ointment helped tremendously with calming down the eczema too.

We used the essential oil recipe on my youngest son for about eight months and then stopped using the oils. Amazingly, the allergies have still not resurfaced, and we are now in the midst of our second fall.

There is no way that it was a coincidence that three kids of different ages who were allergic to different things had their allergies dissipate all at one time. I have since shared this recipe with numerous people who are telling me that they are having similar results as well.
