I burned my hand the other day. It was not severe but was one of those types of burns that you know is going to hurt while washing dishes.
I rubbed 1 to 2 drops of Lavender essential oil directly on the burn and then 1 to 2 drops of Peppermint essential oil on top to numb it.
Within minutes my hand felt better. I could no longer tell that I had even burned it. I had no "pins and needles" feeling when I pressed on it or put it in hot water.
My hand has been fine ever since. There was no need to reapply at a later time. It worked perfectly.
