Warning: Not all essential oil brands are the same quality. If you expect to achieve results similar to those described in this testimonial, then ensure that the oil you are using is made from pesticide-free plants grown in optimal conditions. Also, the brand should be a 100% pure, high-quality essential oil that does not contain any synthetic additives. Do your own research or ask trusted friends to find a brand that is reputable.
My mother got stung by a wasp on her wrist while gardening. Her arm and hand swelled up very much. She applied rubbing alcohol and got some relief, but, with the swelling, she could not use her hand.
I found out about the sting a day later. I pulled out her Purification and Peppermint essential oils and told her to alternate their use. She applied 2-3 drops of one of the oils every couple of hours. The itchiness stopped right away. The swelling was completely gone in less than one day.
I felt bad that I obviously have not taught my mother enough. She has lots of essential oils, but she said she did not know which ones to use. I reminded her about the reference card on the fridge, with suggested uses. I guess we just cannot presume that our relatives have learned through osmosis; we have to educate them as well as ourselves!
